Student Immersion Batch XV Singapore [Krista Mitra High School]

On Sunday afternoon, 26th May 2019, Student Immersion Batch XV Singapore was started. This time, Cipta Bangsa Foundation had collaboration with Krista Mitra High School. There were eight persons in the team who had flight to Singapore on that day.

They arrived at Changi International Airport on Sunday evening. They were in Singapore for four days three nights. The first highlighted activity of the programme was the campus visit. They went to three universities in Singapore, Mages Institute of Excellence, Singapore Management University, and Singapore Institute of Management.

In each university, they were explained about the majors, learning sistems, tuition fees, living- cost, and scholarships which were offered by many parties. They got many information about campus life, especially on the visited campuses. The activity also gave the students information to prepare their next study. It eased them to choose the majors and universities for their next study. In addition, Krista Mitra High School and Singapore Institute of Management agreed to have a partnership in a toastmaster field in order that the students of Krista Mitra get soft skills, especially in public speaking.

After having educational activity, they had a city tour. They visited Merlion Park to take pictures in the landmark of Singapore. They also walked around at the Gardens By the Bay, had a sight seeing in Orchard Road, Mustafa Center, Bugis Street, Vivo City, Sentosa Island, and explored Universal Studio Singapore.

They leave for Indonesia on Wednesday, 29 of May, today afternoon of Singapore time.

The Student Immersion Programme intends to give the students knowledge about majors, universities, choices to choose in their next education, and give them experiences to communicate globally. The programme also aims to facilitate the school to begin a partnership with an overseas university or school in a certain field which the school wants to concern more.

YES KOREA Batch II; DMZ Project [Update Story before Leaving for Home Country]

May almost comes to an end. The three participants of YES Korea batch II, Ayu, Hening, and Elfira have prepared their stuffs before leaving for home country on May 26. During their last week in South Korea, they were busy helping locals on their farming. They got amazing experience during the program. They were really able to experience as locals because they work daily as locals do. Moreover, they communicate with the locals day and night everyday.

They also have said goodbye to the staffs of DMZ Center on May 24.

Student Immersion Singapore 2019 Program Presentation [Hidayatullah Junior High School]

On Thursday 16th May, Cipta Bangsa Foundation held a presentation of Student Immersion Singapore program in Hidayatullah Junior High School. The presentation was participated by the program coordinators from the school, the students who are selected to join the program, and their parents. The director of Cipta Bangsa Foundation became the speaker on that presentation. He presented the programme in detailed. Starting from explaining the destination places till the activities they will be engaged during the program in Singapore.

The Student Immersion Singapore Program within Hidayatullah Junior High School is supposed to begin on October. They will stay in Singapore for four days three nights. During the program, they’re going to visit school in Singapore. Beside, they will have a city tour. They’re going to have times in Merlion Park, Gardens By the Bay, Orchard Road, Universal Studio Singapore, Vivo city, Bugis Street, and Mustafa Center.

Student Immersion Singapore Pre- Departure Training [SMA Krista Mitra Semarang]

On Monday, 13th May 2019, Cipta Bangsa Foundation held a pre- departure training in Krista Mitra Semarang Senior High School. The training was participated by the program coordinator from the school, the students who’ll join the program and their parents. The director of Cipta Bangsa Foundation became the speaker on that training. He gave the audiences information regarding the pogramme. Starting from the departure in Ahmad Yani International Airport, during the program in Singapore, until the arrival in Ahmad Yani International Airport after having four days in Singapore.

The Student Immersion Singapore Program within Krista Mitra Semarang Senior High School is supposed to leave for Singapore on May 26, 2019 and come back to Indonesia on May 29, 2019.

During the program, they’re going to visit three universities in Singapore, Mages Institute of Excellence, Singapore Management University, and Singapore Institute of Management. Beside, they will have a city tour. They’re going to have times in Merlion Park, Gardens By the Bay, Orchard Road, Universal Studio Singapore, Vivo city, Bugis Street, and Mustafa Center.

Student Exchange Taiwan 2019 Selection [NASIMA Junior and Senior High School]

On Wednesday 15th May 2019, Cipta Bangsa Foundation held a selection in Nasima Junior High School. The selection aimed to choose the participants who are ready and well prepared to join Student Exchange Taiwan Programme so that they will be able to follow it well, from the beginning till the end of the programme. The selection was done by interview and the core of the interview is to know the students’ English ability and personality. There were three interviewers from Cipta Bangsa Foundation and twenty five students from both junior and senior high school of Nasima. The selected participants are chosen based on their scores of English ability and personality. They must be at least good in English and possess a/ an independence, discipline, responsibility, confidence, also good manner. The selected participants are supposed to fly to Taiwan on October this year.

Student Exchange itself is one of the International Programmes which is organized by Cipta Bangsa Foundation. Similar to Student Immersion Programme, the Student Exchange Programme aims to give the students more knowledge especially about the destination country, learning experience in school of foreign country, opportunity to practice their foreign language ability, and make them more independent, responsible to themselves, also increase their self -confidence and bravery to communicate globally.

Student Immersion Singapore 2019 Selection [Hidayatullah Junior High School]

On Friday, 3rd May 2019, Cipta Bangsa Foundation held a selection for Student Immersion 2019 Programme in Hidayatullah Junior High School. The selection was done by interview in the library. There were twenty nine participants who joined the selection and two interviewers from Cipta Bangsa Foundation. The interview aimed to know their English ability and their personality so that they’ll be able to follow the programme without any obstacle. The selection started at around 8.30 a.m and finished at around 11.30 a.m. The selected participants are supposed to follow the Student Immersion Singapore 2019 Programme on October this year. The selected participants are going to be chosen based on their score in English and personality. They must be at least good in English and possess a/ an independence, discipline, responsibility, confidence, also good manner.

Student Immersion itself is one of the International Programmes which is organized by Cipta Bangsa Foundation. The program aims to give the students more knowledge especially about the destination country, learning experience in school of foreign country, opportunity to practice their foreign language ability, make them more independent and responsible to themselves, also increase their self -confidence and bravery to communicate globally.

YES Korea 2019 batch II; DMZ Project [UPDATE STORY]

Time runs so fast. May has come which means YES Korea 2019 batch II DMZ project is coming to an end soon. The project is started on early March and supposed to finish on late May. The participants (Ayu, Elfira, and Hening) have done many things during the programme. They’ve helped not only the officers of DMZ Centre, but also locals who live near DMZ Centre. They learn new things like making wood fertilizer, insect nest, farming, keeping the students of local school company to Ganghwa-do and many other things they do for the first time in their life. In addition, they help the elderly and communicate with them directly almost everyday. They’re also able to practice their Korean ability since they are university students majoring Korean. They’re spending times well and useful there in South Korea for about three months. They surely get amazing experiences and memories which are priceless. Stay healthy, guys!
