On Sunday afternoon, 26th May 2019, Student Immersion Batch XV Singapore was started. This time, Cipta Bangsa Foundation had collaboration with Krista Mitra High School. There were eight persons in the team who had flight to Singapore on that day.
They arrived at Changi International Airport on Sunday evening. They were in Singapore for four days three nights. The first highlighted activity of the programme was the campus visit. They went to three universities in Singapore, Mages Institute of Excellence, Singapore Management University, and Singapore Institute of Management.
In each university, they were explained about the majors, learning sistems, tuition fees, living- cost, and scholarships which were offered by many parties. They got many information about campus life, especially on the visited campuses. The activity also gave the students information to prepare their next study. It eased them to choose the majors and universities for their next study. In addition, Krista Mitra High School and Singapore Institute of Management agreed to have a partnership in a toastmaster field in order that the students of Krista Mitra get soft skills, especially in public speaking.
After having educational activity, they had a city tour. They visited Merlion Park to take pictures in the landmark of Singapore. They also walked around at the Gardens By the Bay, had a sight seeing in Orchard Road, Mustafa Center, Bugis Street, Vivo City, Sentosa Island, and explored Universal Studio Singapore.
They leave for Indonesia on Wednesday, 29 of May, today afternoon of Singapore time.
The Student Immersion Programme intends to give the students knowledge about majors, universities, choices to choose in their next education, and give them experiences to communicate globally. The programme also aims to facilitate the school to begin a partnership with an overseas university or school in a certain field which the school wants to concern more.
